Starlite Vista Highlights

Built between 1954-1957 and located near Glendale Avenue and 15th Avenue, homes in Starlite Vista all use the same floor plan with 4 different site orientations to help give more visual diversity to the neighborhood. Like many of the other Haver hoods such as Marlen Grove, these homes were intended to have flexible designs meant to be modified and expanded.

Haver designs here are recognized for their use of a narrow clerestory window high up angled along the low sloping rooflines on the gable ends of the homes. In some of the models here a vertical window from floor to ceiling was added in with the clerestory to form a right angle shape. Prices for homes originally started at only $13,000!
