From The Arizona PIRG Public Interest Advocate and Local First Arizona
We’ve been calling on decision makers to provide more transportation options.
Tomorrow, Tuesday June 10th, the Phoenix City Council will vote on two “Complete Streets” ordinances to make sure our transportation system works for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users in addition to motorists.
This is encouraging progress at a time when people are increasingly turning away from driving, and transit ridership in the Valley is at an all time high.
Tell Phoenix City Council members: vote in support of “Complete Streets.”
The “Complete Streets” measures are big steps toward getting more bike paths, improving access to transit, and giving us better pedestrian walkways. We need to make sure that City Council knows this is something the public overwhelmingly supports, so they need to hear from you.
Give Phoenix City Council the thumbs up to providing more options for walking, biking, and transit.
Thanks for your support,
